Thoughts about School psychology...

Psychology is the science which has many fields. Each problem could be solved by many different ways and by many different specialists. Every psychologist works at the field which is the most acceptable for him. There is 20 subfields of psyhology, like Clinical, Cognitive, Forensic, School, Personality and others... After getting a Bachelor degree every student could choose one of these subfields and specialize on it. Now I'm thinking about possibility to specialize on School psychology.

First of all, I think that the main reason for this choise is that I love being in the surrounding of young people and socialize with them. So school would be the best place for that. Secondly, in schools were are so many problematical childs and the specialists of this field it is especially needed. In my opinion, the specialists should be young, because it looks much more confidant than the older.

In the other hand, work with children it is very hard, because sometimes they can't or just don't want to understand that psychologist can help them to find the best way how to solve their problems. Besides, teenagers is the most unaccommodating group of people. But I hope, that if one day I become a School psychology specialist I could overbear all the difficulties and help for every children that will need my help.
